Starting from the imagined question “What if I could step inside a painting?”, I make work on the theme of the boundary between painting and reality. I want to depict the sensation of placing oneself inside a painting: stepping away for a while from everyday anxiety and restlessness as one's consciousness sinks into the world of the picture. I aim for works that let viewers freely imagine the world of the painting and immerse themselves in it.
