Shipping fees work differently for artworks and goods

All amounts include tax. If you order artworks and goods together, they will be shipped separately.
Shipping Fees for Artworks
Charges are divided into the “packing fee” and the “shipping fee,” which is cash on delivery (paid to the carrier on delivery)

Because every artwork is one-of-a-kind, we pack each one individually in custom packaging. The actual cost of this is charged as the packing fee during checkout. The shipping fee is cash on delivery (paid to the carrier on delivery); please pay the delivery carrier directly upon delivery.
You do not pay for the artwork on delivery. The artwork price and packing fee have already been paid, so the only amount you pay on delivery is the shipping fee.
Packing Fee
The packing fee is calculated automatically according to the size of the artwork and is shown on the checkout screen.

Approximate Shipping Fees
Shipments leave from Tokyo. We send artworks by Yamato Transport’s TA-Q-BIN parcel service, with the shipping fee as cash on delivery (paid to the carrier on delivery). The actual amount is determined by the size of the box after packing, so please use the table below as a guide.

* The TA-Q-BIN size is the sum of the length, width, and height after packing. It will be somewhat larger than the dimensions of the artwork itself.

About Large Artworks
Artworks for which the sum of three sides (length + width + height) exceeds 200 cm cannot be sent by TA-Q-BIN. If you order such an artwork, we will contact you individually with the shipping method and a quote that includes the packing fee. We will arrange a dedicated delivery service or fine-art transport and ship the artwork once you have agreed.
Delivery Time
Artworks are, in principle, shipped after the exhibition ends. Please allow time for delivery.
Many of the artworks sold at Art-Hack Shop are actually on view at BREAD&ESPRESSO& Shibaura Gallery, BREAD&ESPRESSO& GINZA LOUNGE, and elsewhere. Artworks purchased during an exhibition will be sent by courier to the address you specify after the exhibition ends.
In addition, because we make a shipping box for each artwork individually and frame it as needed before sending it, preparation may take about 1 to 4 weeks.
For this reason, it may take more than one month from order to delivery. Thank you for your understanding.
If you have a preferred delivery date, or if you need your order urgently, please contact us at info@artleap.net before ordering. We will inform you individually of the scheduled end of that artwork’s exhibition and the expected shipping date.
About the payment deadline
If you choose convenience-store payment or bank transfer, please pay within 7 days including the date of your order. If we cannot confirm your payment by the deadline, your order will be canceled automatically (no cancellation fee applies). We will begin preparing for shipment after we confirm your payment.
For large artworks, we will inform you of the schedule once the shipping method has been determined.
About Packing
Each artwork is packed individually with cushioning material in a shipping box. Larger artworks are packed in custom packaging suited to the work, such as a wooden crate.
All of this is packaging for shipping. A box for storing the artwork (storage box: sashibako / kabusebako) is not included. If you would like one, we can make one for you after purchase, by separate quote.
Receiving Your Order
- Please enter a phone number at which you can be reached when you place your order, so that the delivery carrier can contact you.
- For large artworks, we may ask you to confirm the delivery route (elevators, stairs, and width of the entrance).
- If an artwork is returned to us because, for example, you were away for an extended period, the shipping fee for re-sending it will be at your expense.
Damage and Non-Delivery
If an artwork is damaged or soiled in transit, please contact us at info@artleap.net within 7 days of receipt. It would help if you could attach photos showing the condition of the artwork. We will accept the return at our expense and issue a refund.
Shipping Fees for Goods
Flat Rate within Japan: ¥490 (Tax Included)
Goods such as tote bags and drawstring pouches are shipped anywhere in Japan for a shipping fee of ¥490. The shipping fee is shown on the checkout screen and is paid together with the product price. It is not cash on delivery (paid to the carrier on delivery).
Even if you purchase multiple goods in a single order, the shipping fee is ¥490.
Delivery Time
Goods are shipped within 7 days after we confirm your payment.
Pre-order goods are shipped in the order of purchase, starting from the estimated delivery date shown on each product page. If you order pre-order goods together with other goods, everything will be shipped together at the pre-order delivery time.
Defects and Damage
If an item is defective or damaged in transit, or if you receive an item that differs from the one you ordered, please contact us at info@artleap.net within 7 days of receipt. We will exchange it or issue a refund at our expense (exchanges are available only if the item is in stock).
International Shipping
We ship goods only to South Korea. Artworks are shipped within Japan only. We do not ship to any country or region other than South Korea.
Shipping Fee for Goods to South Korea
The shipping fee is a flat rate of ¥1,200. It is shown on the checkout screen and is paid together with the product price. Even if you purchase multiple goods in a single order, the shipping fee is ¥1,200.
Goods are sent by Japan Post international mail (with a tracking number). The shipping timing is the same as for domestic orders (within 7 days after we confirm your payment; for pre-order goods, starting from the estimated delivery date shown on each product page). The number of days until delivery varies depending on local customs conditions.
Customs Duties and Customs Clearance
If customs duties, import taxes, or similar charges are imposed on delivery to South Korea, they are your responsibility. In addition, for deliveries to South Korea, an input field for the Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC, 개인통관고유부호) will appear on the payment screen of the checkout. It is required for customs clearance, so please enter it (if you are a foreign national and do not have one, please enter your passport number).
