Mio Kasai
Born 1992, Aichi
Spent early childhood in the United States and began practicing bodily expression at the age of three. Began working as an artist in earnest in 2022, centered on oil painting. After about a year and a half of working in Paris and Berlin, now based in Tokyo, exploring human existence, social structures, and ideal ways of being through experiences in many places and encounters with diverse values. Through minimal, contemplative works, offers a moment to pause in an age when values easily become one-sided, and to return to what truly matters.
