The snowy mountain stretching out beyond the glass symbolizes my inner self: quiet, cold, and hard to touch. The work depicts the anxiety of feeling watched, a hypersensitive awareness, the self wavering within relationships with others, and the process by which its outline takes shape.

At the core of my practice is the act of sublimating emotions, memories, and inner landscapes by making them visible. I depict the emotions that inevitably arise in relationships between people, and the universal wavering that runs through both self and others. Starting from inner tremors such as anxiety and pain, I try to look at what lies beyond them....
