About the work

A playful portrait clad in the signs of glasses and dots. The dots symbolize the smallest unit of digital printing, and the glasses symbolize a filter. By using pop signs that can be mass-produced while imprinting the artist’s physicality on a one-of-a-kind canvas, the work embodies the paradox of contemporary art: “it seems like it could be anywhere, yet exists only here.”
