The curves of a girl, drawn with minimal lines, emerge from a vivid monochrome background. Her body, which has no specific model, is an “empty vessel” onto which the viewer projects their memories and longings. Precisely because it is so simple, the artist’s physicality dwells in the slight wavering of the brushstrokes, radiating a firm sense of presence as a living human being, the polar opposite of digital sterility.
