About the work

An intricate background and a girl leaping in defiance of gravity. By using manga-style expression yet fixing it as a one-of-a-kind work, it blurs the boundary between the commercial and the artistic. This picture, in which reality and fiction melt together, does not point to anyone in particular; it has the force of a copy without an original (a simulacrum), endlessly multiplying on social media, the “temple of our age.”
